THE CODE38 PRO FEATURES A GLASS-BEAD BLASTED CHASSIS WITH GROOVED PRECISION HELIX WITH POLISHED LIFTER AND FOIL BLADE.

Preferred by many sommeliers, the grooved helix is designed to provide additional grip in the cork and is available on the Code38 Pro in either a polished stainless steel finish or TiCN coated helix as shown on the right above.

The Code38 Pro is designed for professional sommeliers and connoissuers of fine wines.

NOTE: Also available with left hand helix by special request.

A BLEND OF POLISHED AND TEXTURED SURFACES
The Pro’s main chassis or body is formed in solid surgical grade stainless steel (316 grade) and for grip, is then bead blasted to create a fine peened surface texture. This finely textured chassis is then matched to a polished stainless steel lifter and foil blade.

The final package is a perfect blend of textures and finishes which feels wonderful in the hand.

TWO HIGH PRECISION HELIX OPTIONS
Arguably the most important single component in a corkscrew, we have taken great care in sourcing the finest helix available. Produced in France to our specifications, the Code38 helix is precise in the linearity of it helixes and is extremely well made and finished.

In addition, the Code38 Helix features a grip groove around the outer edge and is available in polished stainless steel, or with a black TiCN coating. This super hard, low friction coating is applied in vapour form at high temperature which penetrates the helixes surface and will not wear off over time such as teflon based coatings. NON SERRATED FOIL BLADE
After extensive market research it was decided that a plain non-serrated foil blade would be the Code38 blade style of choice. A plain edge allows you to maintain the edge at the perferred level of sharpness, and will always leave a clean cut when maintained and used with correct technique.

The knife steel used on each of the Code38 models is a stainless steel knife alloy called 440C and used extensively by custom knife manufacturers globally.

"Since discovering the Code38, my other corkscrews are gathering dust! The Code38 is very solid in the hand, extremely well made and works beautifully. The screw is long enough to work effectively with Bordeaux corks and the positioning of the lever makes removing even the toughest corks a breeze. They’ll bury me with this one in my pocket".
Darrin Siegfried – President – The Sommelier Society of America

“The Code38 is a beautifully engineered wine knife. Its sophisticated design is not only visually attractive but its solid weight and balance in the hand gives superb leverage and feel. The corkscrew has good length and the blade is clean and curved. Unlike other ‘waiters friends’ I have used, its mechanisms are well-sprung and move with impressive ease. These important elements synchronise, making the Code38 a pleasure to use. With the reassurance of a lifetime guarantee, this is not only a fine instrument to work with, but a luxury piece for those who appreciate style and functionality in design.”
Sophie Otton – Head Sommelier – Rockpool Bar & Grill – Australia

“Not only is the Code38 the best wine key in the world but it also the most efficient. A Sommeliers dream…”
Rajat Parr – Wine Director and Owner – RN74 – USA
